Aaron Shtabsky is a business leader with a broad history of involvement in venture capital work and real estate development in Canada and the United States. He served as past chairman of the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Oral Health Sciences Advisory Committee and as chairman of the University of Alberta Hospitals Foundation. In addition, he has served on the boards of the Economic Development Edmonton Advisory Board, the Kingsway Business Association and the Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief. He was a founding partner of the law firm Shtabsky & Company and was appointed Queen's Counsel in Canada.

He has also served as a member of the International Executive Board of the World Presidents Organization, held directorships and executive positions with the Young Presidents' Organization, Edmonton Economic Development Authority and numerous corporations including a life assurance company and a hi-tech pharmaceutical corporation. Mr. Shtabsky has held directorships and executive positions with United Way of Edmonton, United Jewish Appeal, Edmonton Symphony and the Minerva Foundation.

He recently served as chairman of the World Presidents Organization Arizona and on the board of the Heard Museum.
