The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's recently released Northern Border Strategy serves as an important backdrop for discussing a number of key issues related to how the three nations manage their borders. NACTS will collaborate with the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute, the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies at the University of Calgary and the Canada-Arizona Business Council in examining these issues at an event at ASU on March 18-19, 2013. The event will bring together academics, policy analysts, practitioners, business groups and government officials from the U.S., Canada and Mexico to examine and evaluate cross-border trade and security challenges.
